Cut, transition,ship the reel.
The Studio is a non-linear video editor for the clips Renovato's image-to-video presets produce. Drag any video output from the atlas onto the timeline, cut between variants, add transitions and ambient audio, scrub the preview, and export 4K MP4 — all without leaving the platform. Clips remain linked to the source render that produced them, so a re-run upstream propagates into the timeline automatically.
How it will work
- 01step 01 / 03
Pull clips from the atlas
Every video output node in the atlas is draggable into the Studio timeline. Walkthroughs, drone passes, time-lapses, ambient motion — all the clip kinds the image-to-video mode produces.
- 02step 02 / 03
Arrange and cut
Sequence clips on the multi-track timeline, set in/out points, add cross-dissolves or hard cuts, drop in ambient audio. The preview scrubs frame-accurately at 4K.
- 03step 03 / 03
Export the reel
Export the assembled reel as 4K MP4, 1080p MP4, or a poster sequence. The export stays a node in the atlas — branch a new variant of the underlying render and the next export reflects it.
Presets in this mode
Each preset is named, parameterised, and routed to the engine that fits the task.
What it's for
Competition reel without After Effects
Stitch a 90-second project film from drone, walkthrough, and time-lapse clips Renovato generated. No After Effects round-trip — the timeline is right next to the atlas the clips came from.
Social cuts at three lengths
Same source clips, three exports: 60s for Instagram, 30s for LinkedIn, 15s for TikTok. Trim the timeline, swap the export preset, ship the cuts.
Client review reel
Bundle the lighting study, the seasonal reel, and the drone approach into one playable reel for the partner meeting. One link to share, one project to review.
Live re-cut on iteration
Re-run the atlas with a new source render — every clip in the timeline updates to the new source automatically. Re-export the reel without re-editing.
Frequently asked
01What is the Studio in Renovato?
What is the Studio in Renovato?
The Studio is Renovato's built-in non-linear video editor for the clips the image-to-video mode produces. Drag clips from the atlas onto a multi-track timeline, cut and transition between them, add ambient audio, and export 4K MP4 — without round-tripping through After Effects or Premiere.
02How is the Studio different from Premiere or DaVinci Resolve?
How is the Studio different from Premiere or DaVinci Resolve?
The Studio is purpose-built for AI-generated architectural clips. It reads directly from the atlas, so a re-run upstream updates every clip in the timeline. Premiere and Resolve are full pro NLEs; the Studio is the fast path for the 80% of architectural deliverables that don't need a colourist.
03Can I bring in clips from outside Renovato?
Can I bring in clips from outside Renovato?
Yes. The Studio accepts MP4 imports up to 4K. You can mix Renovato-generated clips with stock footage, drone photography, or your own pre-rendered animations.
04What audio support is there?
What audio support is there?
Drag in ambient audio tracks (royalty-free or your own), set per-clip volume, fade in/out at cut points. Voice-over recording is on the roadmap but not in v1.
05What export formats does the Studio support?
What export formats does the Studio support?
MP4 (H.264 and HEVC) at up to 4K resolution, plus a poster-sequence export (PNG frames at user-specified intervals) for static deliverables. ProRes export is on the roadmap.
06Is the Studio gated behind a higher tier?
Is the Studio gated behind a higher tier?
No. Studio access is included on every Renovato tier from Starter ($19/mo) up. The credit cost lives on the underlying clips you generated; the editor itself is free to use.
