Terms of Service
The rules that govern your use of Renovato — what we provide, what you agree to, and how we share responsibility with the third parties that power the Service.
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Renovato AI (“Renovato”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the Renovato website, the Renovato application, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and “you” refers to that organisation.
What Renovato is
Renovato is a software-as-a-service platform for architectural visualization. The Service lets users upload an architectural input (render, photograph, sketch, or floor plan) and generate transformed outputs — including image variations, video clips, and 3D models — via a node-based workspace, a non-linear editor, and a chat agent.
Generation is performed by routing requests to third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI, Google Gemini, ByteDance, Kling, and open-source models). The set of providers and specific models may change. Renovato remains responsible for the routing layer and the delivery of the Service; the third-party providers remain responsible for the AI computation itself, subject to their own terms.
Account registration and security
To use most features of the Service you must create an account with a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. The Service is not directed at children.
Notify us immediately at hello@renovato.ai if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
Subscriptions, billing, and Merchant of Record
Renovato is offered as a credit-based subscription. Plans, prices, and included credit allowances are listed on the pricing page and are subject to change with reasonable notice (existing subscribers' current cycle pricing is honoured).
Paddle.com Market Limited(“Paddle”) acts as Merchant of Record for all Renovato subscription sales. Paddle is responsible for processing your payment, collecting any applicable VAT, sales tax, or equivalent, and issuing receipts. The name on your card or bank statement will reference Paddle. By purchasing a subscription, you also accept Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Credits are granted on the first day of each cycle and roll over while your subscription is active. Cancellation stops further auto-renewal but does not refund the current cycle (see Refund Policy).
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to generate, upload, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, fraudulent, or harmful — and not to attempt to bypass technical safeguards.
Specifically, you must not:
- Upload content you do not have the right to use, including renders or photographs owned by third parties without permission.
- Generate content that depicts minors in sexualised contexts, real persons without their consent, or that constitutes hate speech, harassment, or incitement to violence.
- Use the Service to produce deepfakes intended to deceive, defraud, or impersonate.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service or any third-party model accessed through it.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service in a way that disguises Renovato as the underlying provider.
- Use automated tooling (bots, scrapers) to interact with the Service except via documented APIs.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice depending on severity. Generation outputs may also be subject to safety filters operated by the underlying AI providers.
Intellectual property — your content and our IP
Your content. You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service (renders, photos, sketches, plans). By uploading, you grant Renovato a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and transform that content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.
Generated outputs.Subject to third-party provider terms, you own the outputs the Service produces from your inputs. You may use them commercially. Where a model's provider terms restrict commercial use (rare in 2026, but possible), we will surface that restriction in the studio before you commit credits.
Renovato's IP. The Service itself — software, design, brand, documentation — remains the property of Renovato AI. These Terms do not grant you any licence to our trademarks or to the underlying source code.
Third-party model IP. The underlying models (OpenAI GPT Image, Google Gemini Nano Banana, Sora, Veo, ByteDance Seedream, Seedance, Kling, FLUX, SDXL+) are owned and operated by their respective providers, subject to their own terms. Renovato does not own those models.
Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties to function:
- AI providers — OpenAI, Google (Gemini, Veo), ByteDance (Seedream, Seedance), Kling, and open-source model hosts. Generation outputs and latencies depend on these providers.
- Payments — Paddle.com Market Limited (Merchant of Record).
- Hosting — Vercel (frontend, edge), Railway and/or AWS (backend, database).
- Storage — Cloudflare R2 (object storage for uploads and generated outputs).
- Email — Resend or equivalent for transactional email.
- Analytics — Plausible or Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly aggregate usage data.
We are not responsible for the policies, availability, or actions of these third parties. Your data may be processed by them as necessary to deliver the Service; see our Privacy Policy for the data flow.
Changes to the Service
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. For material changes that reduce existing capabilities of paid tiers, we will give reasonable advance notice and, at our discretion, offer a pro-rated credit or refund.
The list of available AI models will change as providers release new versions and retire old ones. We anchor the Service to vendor families, not specific model versions, so workflows continue to work as the underlying models update.
Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing hello@renovato.ai. Cancellation stops auto-renewal effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued service poses a security or compliance risk. On termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. Within 30 days of termination you may request export of your uploaded content; after 30 days, we may delete it.
Warranties and disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, free of defects, suitable for your purpose, or that they will not infringe any third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them — especially for production deliverables, marketing, or any context where accuracy or rights-clearance matters.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renovato's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you to Paddle for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if advised of the possibility.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in those jurisdictions, the limitations apply only to the extent permitted.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Renovato harmless from any claim, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) content you upload or generate through the Service, or (c) your use of generated outputs in a way that infringes third-party rights.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers in the European Union and United Kingdom retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
Where Paddle is involved as Merchant of Record, Paddle's own buyer terms and dispute mechanisms apply to billing matters.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email and on the Renovato changelog at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
