Floor Plan AI

Floor Plan AI is a class of generative system that takes a 2D architectural plan plus a placed camera — with field-of-view, height above the floor, and pitch — and renders the perspective view from that camera's exact position. It collapses the early-design loop of plan → 3D model → render into plan → render.

In context

At the brief stage, an architect typically has a floor plan but no 3D model. Generating a perspective from the plan would normally require Revit, SketchUp, or Lumion. Floor Plan AI removes that step: the plan and a camera are enough to ship a partner-meeting-ready render.

In Renovato

Renovato's Floor Plan AI is in private testing. The plan input accepts PDF, DWG, and PNG; multi-floor plans become stacked nodes in the atlas, each with its own camera plane. FOV is settable from 14° to 120°, with height in metres and pitch in degrees. The output becomes a source node downstream presets can read.
